Matt Chimento has a new song out called “Daisy Queen.” This is a love song that my husband wrote for me when we were dating.
Guess who has a new/old song released? That’s right, it’s none other than my hubby and forever love, Matt Chimento. And since you’re checking it out here, I might be able to give you the 411 on his latest hit single.
Matt’s songs are all his own. He pulls from experiences or emotions from those experiences. Let me just say that I’m *cough cough* his daisy queen. SO HAVE A SEAT IF YOU THINK THIS SONG IS ABOUT YOU BECAUSE IT AIN’T.
Matt wrote this song back when we were dating, in fact I think he played it for me on one of our dates. It was shortly after he had just asked me to be his girlfriend and spoiler alert, I accepted. But not before I made him ask a second time with a rose and have a romantic setting because ya girl needed it done right! And no it’s not a bachelor thing. It’s a “roses are romantic” thing.
It took me a long time to learn that if you want something from a man, you need to be very specific. So I asked for a rose if he was going to ask me to be his girlfriend. And voila! But no I didn’t ask for the song. He did that all on his own. 🙂
